This year the conference begins with the Keynote Presentation by Jean-Francois Rishard, with a focus on Global Problem-Solving and Technology. He is based in Paris, France, and has been a vice-president of the World Bank, and the author of High Noon, a best-seller from 2002. The power of technology and student action can work together to help society develop better (global) problem-solving techniques and a sense of global citizenship. Rishard shared out-of-the-box thinking about where education has a huge role to play and how new technologies can be of enormous help. A number of educators from Delaware are attending these conferences and will be updating us as the week goes on. Looking forward to hearing great ideas from this conference!
