Many years ago, we visited the World Trade Center in New York City. We stayed overnight there, and it was where we found out that we were expecting our oldest son, John. That is a very happy memory.
But ten years ago, a multitude of tragic memories were attached to those buildings, and other lives lost in the attacks in Washington, D.C. and in Pennsylvania. We all remember where we were when we heard and saw the news of the terrorist attacks. We grieved as a country, then moved forward with great determination. Many more lives have been lost since then protecting the United States of America, and now we are rebuilding.
We will never forget…
